My wonderful friends Ngwebifor and Celeste (pictured above) are the two responsible for the entity affectionately known as Politix. They continue to furnish events that attract the progressive-minded demographic and through these efforts, they contribute to the betterment of the city from which I dwell. As you may [or may not] know, my sole purpose is to connect the progress and serve the community…so I’m behind their efforts 100% AND they’re cool people AND they are products of the HBCU experience!

Introducing the Los Angeles Professional Network (LAPN)

We thank you for a very successful year of business and networking on behalf of downtownLAnetwork. Many relationships were built, numerous new job opportunities achieved, and a wide-array of new business partnerships were formed. From such successes, downtownLAnetwork has been approached by individuals, partnerships, and organizations with various business opportunities for expansion and development. Therefore, downtownLAnetwork has strategically aligned with selected professional organizations with aim to attract the necessary corporations which will broaden our growth. In doings so, we have decided to re-brand the company; as of January 2009 downtownLAnetwork will operate as the “Los Angeles Professional Network” (LAPN).

The focus and mission of Los Angeles Professional Network is consistent to downtownLAnetwork’s very successful professional networking mixers. Additionally, LAPN will introduce seminars, workshops, job fairs, and an interactive online community.
